My Very Own Magnet!!

Aloha All,

I have been keeping a secret for  quite a while.  I wanted the Dallas Market to finish before announcing my very own magnet from Fob Friends & Mag Friends.  This allowed Lisa to create all the special magnets for the shops and she surprised me by putting my exclusive on the magnet card.  See the picture below.

Now in my former life I am sure I was a Pirate  I love all things related to pirates, and have a lot of paraphernalia.   Remember Leigh’s Tall Ships Designs, well yes, I own the pirate ship “Queen Anne’s Revenge“.    Also in stash is Dream House Ventures  ”Skeleton Crew”.  Both are very cool designs.  I have Pirate T-shirts, movies, books etc..  Thanks to Jill of Amy’s Golden Strand I have a wonderful Skull and Cross Bones Needlepoint belt that looks just like my magnet.  I am guessing you are getting a very clear picture! Recently more pirates and of course skulls have been flooding the market, which is just awesome. :cool:

Hooty's Thread Package!

The first Hooty “Spring Owl” came with all the threads for the series, pictured above.  The threads were in the lovely package you see in the background.  Owls are my other love, right along with pirates.  I admit, I have more owls, as they are more readily available.  Now Ada, why did you not add the Pirate Owl into the series?  That would have been so awesome  

Well folks, up next are pictures of the kitties, and one of Nixie.  I had to add  Nixie, so she would not be jealous, and Angus, is still recovering from his second knee surgery.

Threads For April Stitch

Aloha All,

I promised to add the threads for the April Stitch and here they are, Kreinik Very Fine Braid (#4) 152V & Splendor S910.  I am changing the stitch ever so slightly in the blackwork to add sequins or beads, therefore I will add the new chart to my site.  We have also started a ANG Witch Hat SOTM Group on Stitcherie.  The PDF for the Hat is available there, and I am adding the charts to the group.  It is a great place to chat and see everyones progress on their individual projects.   Palma has added pictures of her hat, this is it pictured below.  It is coming along wonderfully
